About Naava Carman
Naava is a TCM acupuncturist, herbalist and educator who has been in practice since 1999. She runs The Fertility Support Company, a busy clinic in London, England, specialising in complex fertility cases, such as autoimmune disorders, hormonal disorders, older pregnancies, recurrent miscarriage and "unexplained infertility".
In 2017 Naava launched the Advanced Level Diploma in Fertility Acupuncture to teach her approach to integrated TCM and biomedical fertility treatment through the lens of Reproductive Immunology.
She has lectured all over the world on Chinese Medicine, fertility and business skills and runs the Rising Stars, Experts and Leaders Mastermind programmes for practitioners who want to grow and develop their practice, business and public profile.
Naava in her own words:
Whilst I treat all kinds of fertility issues, the clients who make me run to work feeling excited and intellectually stimulated are those who are 38-45 years old with complex, multifaceted fertility issues. In particular, those who have been told that there is no real explanation for their fertility problems other than their age, have had multiple IVF failures, and those searching for a safe person to guide them through all aspects of their fertility journey.
During my time in practice I have developed a specialism in treating complex autoimmune disorders, such as unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriage, hypermobility in pregnancy, PCOS, endometriosis and other inflammatory conditions. I have also undertaken further specialist training in the area of female pelvic and sexual pain including vulvodynia and dyspareunia.
My treatments are designed to tackle the underlying causes of infertility and help men and women enhance their chances of conception naturally and in conjunction with IVF and IUI.
I’m a fully qualified member of the UK's Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine and of the British Acupuncture Council.
The Advanced Level Diploma in Fertility Acupuncture
"After many years of trialing and refining my work, and in response to the demand for more advanced training for acupuncture practitioners in treating fertility issues, I developed an Advanced Level Diploma in Fertility Acupuncture in 2017. This was delivered at both the UK’s International College of Oriental Medicine and the Northern College of Acupuncture. The Diploma course was in such high demand from practitioners all over the world that in 2019 I developed this platform to host an online version of the Diploma so that the knowledge and skills of the Advanced Level Diploma will be available to practitioners everywhere."
